Every card includes the live 2026 grade, frozen August projection, and historical 2025 record.

The two questions

Live tier bands a program's current SP+ rating on the shared scale. The August view preserves the original projected tier.

Live grade measures current rating against the published August projection. The residual Δ = rating − projection, banded A through F.

One is program status. The other is season narrative. Both use the same 0–100 scale, and Δ is the subtraction.

A high rating and a modest grade can coexist: strong teams have strong benchmarks. Live grades are provisional; the separately labeled 2025 board remains a final-season retrospective.
